Well we finally did it. And by it, I mean we cut Chase's hair. We almost made it to the 3 year mark! I would like to make a point that I was in no way pressured by my mom to cut Chase's hair. I just knew she would enjoy being a part of it, so decided to get it done while she was in town. I also asked Joel before we got it cut and he did say ok. But, I think Joel would have much rather just let Chase's hair grow and was a little upset when he saw it. :( I have a feeling that Rylen will go a very long time before his first hair cut and Chase may never have a second hair cut.
Can you see how excited my mom is?
A side shot of Chase's hair. I would like to note that this is his hair after being washed. It is actually quite cute. It is after he sleeps on it that it took on the albert einstien.
The back was getting quite long. Some of this hair he was born with!
And it begins. I have to say I was much more emotional about it, than I thought I would be.
"Why are you doing this to me, mother?!"
The final hair cut. I don't have a better picture of it yet! But will!!! He was also more proud of his sucker than smiling and showing off the new look.
And not to be left out, a shot of our 6 month old Ry Ry.
Other notes: Ry is so close to crawling and cannot be left alone! Chase is growing so fast and becoming a very good brother. He calls Rylen Ry Ry and also his best friend...which make me very happy! The boys are also sleeping in the same room! And Chase is actually comforted by having "his" Rylen there. This morning Chase climbed into our bed (before 6!) and told Joel and I that horses live in a barn. And that he was not a cow. The next sentence was "I'm going to grow up like a sheep. Baaaa" then he bounced from me to Joel and we both laughed/groaned.

Doesn't he look so proud of himself!
The verdict is still out.
